Isabel Miramontes has made seats their specialty. Their characters come to life within their supports. After "Chaise" (Chair), "Assis" (Seated), "Fauteuil" (Armchair), "Divan" (Couch), "Songe" (Dream), and the famous "Rendez-Vous" exhausted, both in small and monumental formats, the artist creates a brand new bench titled "En Attendant..." (While Waiting...). Their creative force bursts forth once again with this unprecedented work, through which the artist offers us a feminine and romantic version of the amorous rendezvous. The woman waits seated on a bench, the slats of which blend with her dress, delicately crossing her fingers in the hope that her rendezvous will live up to her dreams.
