Shake it all off with me by Marc de Corte is more than a sculpture — it is a moment of awakening, captured in its purest form.
A feminine figure rises delicately onto the tips of her toes, suspended between earth and sky. Her body opens into a moment of pure liberation: arms extending into space, the silhouette stretching toward the light, as if surrendering peacefully to the rhythm of life itself.
Marc de Corte captures that precious instant when we decide to release what weighs us down — doubts, fears, memories — and allow ourselves simply to exist. The title, “Shake It All Off With Me”, becomes an invitation: to let go, to breathe, to reconnect with our inner freedom.
The artist’s deep fascination with the human body is revealed through the remarkable balance between strength and fragility. The sculpture seems almost impossible: standing in a moment of tension, yet filled with softness; fragile in its balance, yet powerful in its emotion. Every curve expresses movement, every line carries the memory of a dance.
Beyond its sensual beauty, this work speaks about transformation — the courage to open oneself to life, to embrace change, and to trust the invisible energy that carries us forward.
Placed near natural light, the sculpture becomes alive: shadows extend the movement, reflections follow the curves of the body, and the figure seems to continue her silent dance.
“Shake It All Off With Me” is not only a celebration of feminine grace — it is a symbol of freedom, confidence and rebirth. A reminder that sometimes, the most beautiful movement begins when we finally let go.
