With “Intervalle”, Véronique Deschepper creates a poetic space suspended between reality and imagination. The painting does not impose a single interpretation: it can become the silence of distant mountains covered by morning mist, the infinite horizon between sea and sky, the softness of untouched sand shaped by the wind, or simply the pure emotion of light travelling through space.
The title itself, “Intervalle”, reveals the essence of the work: a moment in between. Between day and night. Between earth and sky. Between movement and stillness. It is this fragile and precious pause where everything seems possible.
The composition is built around a subtle meeting of elements. Deep blues anchor the lower part of the canvas, evoking the mystery of the ocean, the depth of the earth or the quietness of a night landscape. Above, the atmosphere gradually opens towards soft luminous tones, as if the first light of dawn were gently appearing. Between them, a delicate white movement crosses the painting — like a wave, a mountain line, a breath of wind, a memory written by nature.
Véronique Deschepper’s strength lies in her ability to create emotion through simplicity. She removes the unnecessary to reveal the essential: silence, space, light and sensation. Her painting invites us not only to look, but to slow down, to breathe, to reconnect with our inner world.
Living with “Intervalle” means living with a painting that constantly evolves. Morning light reveals its softness and transparency; evening light deepens its mystery and contemplation. It is a work that continues to reveal itself, day after day.
“Intervalle” is not simply a landscape. It is the space between two emotions, between two moments of life — a quiet journey towards peace, beauty and inner freedom.
