Introspective and contemplative, "Answer Me" releases a lot of softness with its grey-white patina.
The smartphone has taken on a very special meaning during the pandemic, becoming the exclusive tool for human relations and communication with others.
“Woman is my favorite subject. A free and multiple woman: active, seductive, graceful, connected. Contemporary."
Hedwig Leroux looks at the world around her and reveals our habits and attitudes in her sculpture.
Object embodying multitasking and contemporary hyperconnectivity.
At the same time, alarm clock, watch, telephone, diary, calculator, camera, weather station, means of reading, viewing video or listening to music, flashlight, notebook, wallet, etc...
The smartphone has become ubiquitous in our lives, and an extension of our hand.
This cannot escape the eye of the artist who wishes to capture our daily gestures and testify to our time.
