Nirvana by Isabel Miramontes is a sculpture of silence, movement and inner liberation — a poetic moment where the human being seems to leave behind the weight of the visible world and enter a state of pure harmony.
A figure advances, carried by an invisible breath. The body is no longer a closed form; it opens, expands and transforms into flowing lines that evoke the movement of wind, waves, memories or thoughts escaping into infinity. Between presence and disappearance, between matter and emptiness, Isabel Miramontes captures the fragile instant when the soul finds its freedom.
The title Nirvana evokes a state of peace, awakening and profound serenity. The figure does not fight against the forces surrounding her — she accepts them, becomes one with them. Like a tree bending with the wind or a wave following the rhythm of the ocean, she embodies the beauty of letting go.
Faithful to her unique artistic language, Isabel Miramontes explores the invisible landscapes of human emotion. The body becomes a metaphor: the elongated forms, the open spaces and the delicate fragmentation reveal an inner journey — the passage from tension to peace, from movement to stillness, from the physical world to a spiritual dimension.
The empty spaces are essential: they invite light to travel through the sculpture, creating a constant dialogue between bronze, shadow and imagination. Depending on the angle of view, Nirvana changes, breathes and reveals new emotions.
More than a sculpture, Nirvana is an invitation: to slow down, to reconnect with oneself, and to feel the beauty of a suspended moment.
A timeless artwork filled with poetry, freedom and the quiet strength of inner peace.
